Wendy Newbury is a writer from eastern Washington state, residing in the Tri-Cities. Her writing is featured in The New York Times Tiny Love Stories column, Roi Fainéant Press, JMWWJournal, Gastropoda, Red Fez,  Complete Sentence. Emerge Journal and Variant Literature, with forthcoming work in Five South Journal and Five Minutes. She has received a Pushcart and two Best of the Net nominations. She is currently writing her coming-of-age debut memoir: Homecoming. 

 

Aside from writing, Wendy is a full-time music educator, mom to three, and a vocalist in her band Black Dolly.
